The 2008 World Championship
The 2008 World Championship was held on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, 2008, in
Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. Those present from Center City Karate were: Kathy Hopkins, Chief Instructor- Sah Dan (4th Degree Black Belt), C. Donald Weinberg, instructor - Sam Dan (3rd Degree Black Belt), Sarah Katowitz, Cho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt), Mathew Stepanowski, Cho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt), Steven Woodson, 2nd Gup (Red Belt), and Ramon Vargas, 6th Gup (Green Belt).
The tournament was enjoyed by all as they met in competition and socialized with fellow members from countries around the world such as Aruba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, England, and others. Below are some pictures of members of Center City Karate. Tang Soo!
