At Center City Karate you will find a unique atmosphere. It is an adult martial arts school where everyone from the ages of 18 to 69 years of age is able to learn at their own individual pace while participating with the whole class. New students and experienced students learn to make the art of Tang Soo Do a way of life.
 
 Cathy Hopkins, is Chief instructor at Center City Karate. Ms. Hopkins is
a Sah Dan (fourth degree black belt), tournament judge, and certified by the World Tang Soo Do Association 

 

Ms. Hopkins is also a reknowned artist and has been an instructor of sculpture at the Fleisher Art Memorial. Ms. Hopkins’s work has been exhibited at venues locally and internationally, including: The Franklin Institute, California Science Center, Telecom Corporate Headquarters, Nauticus, the United States Navy National Maritime Center, the Museo Graphica (Mexico City) just to mention a few. 

 

Ms. Hopkins’s public commissions include works for Lloyd Hall, Presbyterian Medical Center and Twitty City (Nashville). She also has done commercial work for The Franklin Mint, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Society Hill Club, The Hunt Company, Hasbro-Bradley, Koeser/Bunch Designs, and others.
